VBAC Calculator

This calculator estimates the odds of a successful VBAC, given things like maternal age, weight, prior vaginal deliveries, and reason for prior cesarean.

I don’t believe this is anything scientific (haha), but, it is amusing.

According to the calculator I have a 58-72% chance of having a VBAC. Kind of a ridiculous “tool”, dontcha think?

What does being african american or hispanic have to do with my chances of a vbac?

Please read the scientic article which is referenced beneath the calculator before you dismiss it as useless. It is based on very sound evidence looking at trends of women who have tried VBAC and their success rates.

Got something to say?
