Civil engineer Paulina Szymkiewisz gave birth in Krakow, Poland, to the five girls in the 26th week of her pregnancy, about 14 weeks early, the Times of Malta reported.
Szymkiewisz told Reuters she did not use fertility drugs. Doctors said the girls will spend the next three months in the hospital and believe the babies are “probably identical” but will not know for another couple of weeks, Reuters reported.
“It’s not every day that people get this kind of news,” Szymkiewisz said. “It’s easier to win the lottery than to have five children.”
